The IHN Certificate Program is a FREE Bible Education Program designed to give you the basic tools to begin your ministry. It is the first 20 Core Curriculum courses offered in any of our Degree Programs. These courses offered are free for a Certificate of Completion and any Degrees. The course material can be used in small group studies, Bible study groups, or just your own personal use.

Now here's some great news. At any time after completing the Core Curriculum you can enroll into the degree program to earn your Bachelor of Biblical Studies degree. Once you do, all you need to do to earn your degree is study the additional 20 Degree courses and take the final exams for each.

There are four (4) modules to the certificate program and they are listed below. You can study these courses at your own pace. There is no expiration date and no due dates for anything. Finish when you can.

Module 1

CC101 - Creative Bible Study Methods (3 Credits)

When we first open the Bible to begin reading we find ourselves being completely overwhelmed with all it contains. Where do we start? What is the best book to begin with? Do we start in the Old or New Testament? You will learn how to study the Scriptures in this course.

CC102 - Foundations Of Faith (3 Credits)

Having a solid knowledge and understanding of our faith foundations is one of the first steps we take in our spiritual journey. Students will learn what these foundations are and how they play a significant part in our faith walk while on this planet.

CC103 - Basic Bible Survey: O.T. Survey (3 Credits)

This course is a general overview of the Old Testament and the various parts of it. You will be introduced to the major events of the Old Testament, the prophets both minor and major, and learn the major divisions.

CC104 - Basic Bible Survey: N.T. Survey (3 Credits)

During this study of the New Testament students will become familiar with the parts such as the gospels, history, letters and prophecies. They will also become familiar with the writers and authors, timelines, and the major events that changed our world forever.

CC105 - Developing a Biblical World View (3 Credits)

Looking at the world through the eyes of the world is one thing. But to see it through God;s eyes is something we must learn to do. This course helps students learn to look at the world around them through the Scriptures so that they view the world the way God sees it and thus strengthening our ministries and faith.

Module 2

CC206 - Kingdom Living (3 Credits)

When Jesus said, "The kingdom of God has come near you" he indicates a kingdom that we will someday live in. This course is designed to examining this "Kingdom" through the Scriptures and see how it is important for us to understand and to live for.

CC207 - Knowing God's Voice (3 Credits)

One of the most difficult things to learn and understand for the believers is what God's will is for us as individuals and as a church. Students will journey through the Scriptures discovering the will of God for His children and for His church.

CC208 - The Ministry of the Holy Spirit (3 Credits)

Most people have the wrong idea of the purpose and actions of the Holy Spirit. It is alive and does the will of God. This course will introduce you to the intent and purpose of the Holy Spirit in our lives and help you understand how it helps in your ministry.

CC209 - SpiritualWarfare (3 Credits)

There is a great war being waged in the world today. It is not a conflict between nations, tribes, or government leaders. It is not a rebellion or coup. It is an important invisible battle taking place in the spirit world.

CC210 - Environmental Analysis (3 Credits)

This course will guide the student through examining the environments of the Old and New Testaments for a comparison of each and through it be able to see God's plan unfold before them. The two environments are very different as are the people and how they respond to God and His law based on these environments.

Module 3

CC311 - Management By Objectives (3 Credits)

Everything Jesus did centered on the great purposes of God. This course analyzes Christ’s objectives for ministry and teaches students to institute management by objectives in their own life and ministry.

CC312 - Mobilizing Methodologies (3 Credits)

This course presents methods for mobilizing spiritual forces for God and explains the practical application of the IHN Bible College vision to specific areas of ministry. Referral courses in various areas of ministry are also available through this module.

CC313 - Leaven-Like Evangelism (3 Credits)

The Gospel of the Kingdom spreads throughout the world as leaven in bread dough: The leaven is small and hidden, but its impact is unlimited. Effective evangelism strategies are taught, including detailed instruction on the deliverance ministry, church planting, and techniques of networking between ministries.

CC314 - Strategies For Spiritual Harvest (3 Credits)

The initial call of Jesus Christ to men was to be spiritually reproductive: "Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men." His final command, that of the Great Commission, also challenged followers to spiritual reproduction. Using the analogy of the natural harvest, this course focuses on promises of spiritual harvest, things that prevent harvest, and keys to effective harvest. It communicates the vision which the remainder of Institute training equips students to fulfill.

CC315 - Teaching Tactics (3 Credits)

This course examines the methods Jesus used to teach and preach the Gospel. Students are taught how to prepare and present lessons and how to teach and preach the Gospel.

Module 4

CC416 - Multiplication Methodologies (3 Credits)

God's plan for spiritual multiplication is presented. This study reveals how a single Christian can be responsible for the multiplication of thousands of trained and motivated believers.

CC417 - Jail And Prison Ministry (3 Credits)

A complete guide to jail and prison ministry. Includes guidelines for writing and visiting inmates, conducting group services inside an institution, reaching out to families of inmates, and ministering on death row.

CC418 - Women: A Biblical Profile (3 Credits)

A study of all the Bible teaches about women and their role in ministry. Also includes a study of the Bible books bearing women’s names–Ruth and Esther–and resources for biographical study of all of the women of the Bible.

CC419 - Intercessory Prayer (3 Credits)

An intercessory prayer guide that includes guidelines on how to pray, what to pray for, when not to pray, resources for prayer, international intercession, and factors that hinder prayer.

CC420 - Power Principles (3 Credits)

The truth of the Gospel is two-fold. First, it is the Word of God as revealed in the Holy Bible. To know the Scriptures you must study, understand, and apply them.
